Its been since 2014 since ive fished lac kipawa. miss the lake so I booked a week at LaLucarne 1st week of Sept. I stare at the 32.5in fiberglass replica walleye that I caught on Kipawa that year. This year I plan on targeting walleye....but my passion is lakers...going to do a lot of jigging for them this time I hope. My brother owns a cabin on the montreal river and have been spending a lot of my vacation time there. we hit back lakes for specks and fish the river for eyes and pike. just got back from there after spending a week between Christmas and new years.

thought I would check in. love reading all the trip reports

Howdy Jow,

Already looking forward to another trip is 2019 and am already working on the tackle.

Last year was my first and while it was a steep learning curve we had a great time.

I hope you catch another big one.
May your travels always take you to where the water meets the shore.

Have fun planning and getting ready for it.
