PETERBFLY

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to check in and say hello.  In two weeks we will be on our way up for our annual trip to Two Moon Lodge.  Our dates are June 22-29.  This will be our 9th consecutive trip and 13th overall since 2000.  It excites me every second of everyday thinking about it.  Last year was a little tough for us with the Walleye, but still a great trip none the less.  Have some new techniques I am looking forward to trying out this year.  One being jigging for Lakers.  I always troll for them with the lead line, so it will be fun to catch them a different way.  Other than that, we will be doing our usual thing.  Troll for Lakers in the morning, target Pike and Walleye mid-day, maybe mix in some bass fishing mid-day also, and Walleye early evening til dark.  What a stressful week we have to look forward to.  The hardest decision we will have to make is whether to use a worm or a leech haha.
Hope everyone is doing good and good luck to those about to start their week.  Just save some fish for us.
Live to Hunt and Fish.. Work to pay for both..

Good luck on your trip - looking forward to your trip report

Take it easy on those stressful decisions.

Peterbfly, very well put!

I feel the same way as our trip gets closer. Your day schedule also sounds very similar to ours. it’s things like looking forward to Going to Kipawa that makes life grand. Fishing and being out in nature in general, is beyond therapeutic.
Walleye Rock!
