Venturing north we departed Hamlton at 330 am with 2 vehicles . Driving 1 was our fearless leader Dave (aka Smurf) , Kyle (aka Fro ) and Jeff (aka Jeffy ) In the pther driving was new member of our group Brice (aka Breeze) , myself MIke  (aka Pike Mike ) and my younger son Matthew (aka Chucky) . The weather was threatening but that spelled good fishing in our minds . Brief stop in North bay and it was on to The Tem Rose for our traditional breakfast . Bellies full it was not off to the Temiscamingue grocery store . I want to call it Provigo after going ther e for 20 + years previous .
We met Danny at the dock and loaded up . The only thing missing were the hoards of bugs we were expecting .What the heck .I was expecting to be swarmed .Yes the bugs were there but I was expecting far worse . We were off to another week in heaven
After the first day the weather cleared and it was bright and sunny ...Damnnnnn!!!!! Bring back the showers
We didnt hammer the eyes but did well in our usual spots .I think some in camp struggled during the week , not sure
The boats and camp were in tip top shape as usual .Reg and Gerrie before him have always been amazing with us , thujs we come back to 3 Seasons every year , 23 and counting .
We had 2 feed of pickerel and all brought home their limit . I managed to entice a number of real nice bass to jump into my boat over the week but most seemed to be still on their spawning
beds .Didnt find many large pike only hooking up with some smaller one over the 7 days
All and all  a great week for the Coca Cola Group from the Hammer .Thanks Reg

Thanks for your trip report Mike. What water depth was most productive for the walleyes? Although I did 17 one week trips to 3 Seasons over 14 years, I haven't fished Lake Kipawa since 2013. Regardless, I'm always keen to read how others are doing there, especially out of 3 Seasons Camp.

Great report Pike Mike. Thanks for sharing.

I'm getting real interested in bugs now too (35 days till my departure), good to hear they're not as bad as you expected.

We fished in depths under 15 feet . Most fish were caught in under 10 feet of water . All caught using 1/4 jug head ( pumpkin color ) along the bottom with worm or leech . Back trolled over many areas with same jig set up as well .Both worms and leeches were successful
The pickerel were not smacking our offerings but were not extremely lite on the bite either . Many times they were " just there" when I set the hook . I use a 4 ' ultralight pole , small reel to match and 4 lb test line . We picked up a single white fish ( not creek chub or other imposter white fish ) jigging a the barrel . I dont have a smoker but enjoy whitefish baked whole or bbq'd  . Filletting is not possible as the bone are so fine my trusty buck filleting knife cuts clean through the rib bones without even trying

Thanks for sharing...glad the 'Boys' had a safe trip. Under 10' of water...wow. Did you notice any of the 'eyes suspended that would lend to a slip bobber presentation? And, I have to ask, did you try any trolling outside of what you mentioned with your jig set up?  Can't imagine trolling with a 4' UL...can hardly imagine jigging with a set up like that...though I did think about it this past weekend when I walked past my UL set up in the holder.
Embrace every moment...you only get it once
