August trip to Alwaki

55 days to go! Seems like an eternity ! I need some trip reports to get us fired up.

Hey Starfire.  Hope you are doing well. Went to Alwaki June 22 to June 27. Just 5 days.  Fishin for us was a little slow. But we did alright. Ate walleye a couple times for supper. Only brought 11 walleyes home between Bev and I. Out fished again! That was my fault though. Held out for one fish for the last night. Then it thunder stormed so no fishing our last night. So didn't get that last fish.  Black flies were awful, even on the lake!  Mosquitos at the dock at Whispering Pines early in morning. Lots of fun though! And a lot better fishin than around here in Pa. See you maybe in August. We will be at Whispering Pines the week you are there.

Hey Mike,

    Looking forward to seeing you up at camp!   Hopefully we can get Brian to take us up.  Three guys in a camp boat with a 15hp is not going to cut it.   This would be the week that we usually go, and by the sounds of it, I'm glad we are going in august.  Hope all is well!   I have a lot to get done before we head North.  Safe Travels!
