Dog....I forgot to mention this exact situation as being one of my favorites also and said so perfectly.

LOL aint that the truth......we have a saying in Mattawa, there is south of 17 and north of 17....referring to the stretch between Mattawa and North Bay.
When you cross that line, heading North, life begins.

Well my favorite was easy, I get to enjoy all the Canadian fishing and wilderness everyday so what tops my list at Kipawa is seeing friends I usually only see once a year.  It's going to be a tough year for everybody if things don't back to normal by the summertime, our state of emergency has been extended another 28 days so all boat launches are closed until further notice in Ontario.  Good luck and stay safe everyone.

Yes...it would be a huge downer if we can't share some time together this summer at Alwaki; we are hoping beyond hope that our late-July trip holds and we can enjoy both the wilderness and a few beers with you and Les on Hodgey's deck...maybe even a trip or two out on the Ozzy Laker run. I'll bring the radishes and pepperettes...  ;)

Stay safe all...and stay home...
Embrace every moment...you only get it once

Here's to hoping the late July date sticks for us as well...would dearly miss sitting under the tree with a cigar and cold beer watching the waves ripple in.  It's the best time to retell all the stories, laugh at the same jokes (and maybe a few new ones) and just decompress for a week!
Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.
