short trip to Laniel end of June

     My cousins husband and friend went up to Laniel for a 3 day trip last weekend. Said they mostly cast rooster tails and shad crankbaits the entire trip. Caught about 10 walleye, a northern, and about 24 bass. Sounds like the bass definitely have their grip on that section of the lake. I caught a bunch of bass last summer for the first time on the lake also.

     I thought their choice of rooster tails was interesting, but maybe thats why they caught so many bass. He also said gas was equal to $5.60 a gallon, and last week when I checked the canadian dollar was worth more than the us dollar. Not a whole lot of other details except a few things that need some attention with the cabin.
