Spring 2022 Fishing Seasons

Last year 2021 Lake Trout opened on Friday April 23.  I cannot find the dates yet for this coming spring.  Thinking it could be April 18th or April 25th.  Does anyone know?  Already getting excited to get a line in the water.  Thanks

I took a look Hinorth and looks like they are holding onto that secret a little longer.  Seems like every section of the lake may be different.  If I get the new reglations for 2022 I will post them.

ah, ends up I was looking at the wrong month and hopefully it open April 22, 2022??  Thanks guys.  With the freezing rain here in Huntsville, it's looking a lot like spring.  I know we have a while to go but we all need to be looking forward to something.

I was actually looking (attempting) at the regs today trying to find when the lake trout season closes in September - the regs online are still for 2021 so (from what I could find) nothing for 2022 has been published yet.

Last year, I wasn't able to go for lakers because we went after the season closed.

I am thinking of booking another long weekend in September, but want to ensure it is before the season closes.

I was looking last year after we bought the cottage because I love lake trout fishing Greg and it was the most confusing lake for regulations.  The way I understand it and if someone else interprets it another way by all means step in.  The main sections like Lac Hunter, Kipawa around alwaki and lac grindstone closed on Sept. 12th last year, but Lac Audoin was later in the season by atleast 2 weeks.  The way the water dropped I'm not sure if you could get into Audoin to fish that late though.

Hey @Ozzy30 , I emailed with Brian and he let me know this year it is Sept 11th (Sunday) - he let me know it is always the Sunday before Sept 15th...
