Lake Kipawa lost a great one

Many of you know that I fish out of Cedar Valley Lodge. Well on Monday morning I got the news that the owner, Neno Ilic, passed away. I am gutted.
Neno was a great host. He was a part of my son's journey into becoming a man and lover of the outdoors, especially fishing. Neno's heart was bigger than the lake itself.
I can't begin to explain the impact him and his wife, Mirjana, had on the two of us. They weren't just hosts or friends, they were family.
The camp will live on with Mirjana and his son Mitch running things.

Neno was taken much too soon. F'n cancer, I hate you.
Let's raise a glass in Neno's memory, and to all our fishing buddies and family that we have lost.
