We opened our camp this weekend.
We just started to see some bigs appear at the end of our weekend.
No bites but as the water warms i am sure they will be out very soon.

Word on the street from very reliable resources is the black flies have hatched and started biting on Lac Kipawa. Oh joy...I can hardly wait for my first bite.  ;)
Embrace every moment...you only get it once

We are here now for a week.
The flies are thick for sure.
I have been working outside but wearing a bug jacket.
Makes it super hot and somewhat frustrating for sure.
We are definately not sitting around a campfire relaxing outside.
The screened gazebo has been a lifesaver.
They tend to form a swarm around you if you stay in one place too long.
But we are thinking this is the worst we have seen them in some time.
