Hello my friends!

We got to the Depot-Sunnyside camp on Saterday morning for a quick one day stop in to open up the place.
We left our house super early to make sure we got to camp before the winds picked up.
It was a good thing we did as it got quite windy.
Rain was off and on for the day,in the evening around 10-11pm there was a short but very heavy bout of strong winds and rain.
At the government launch the docks were in.
I would say the lake looks to be about a foot from its summer "normal" levels.
I was told that in the town this year they will need burn permits to have fires, so i think they are anticipating another very dry and busy fire season.
Not sure if this will impact camp owners out of town or not.
Water temps were quite cold, we were seeing between 38-39deg.

Thought since we have been posting views looking out past our gazebo towards the dock i would show one looking towards the camp.

Here is one looking towards Alwaki.

And one looking towards the Lindros camp at Corbeau.

It wouldn't be right not to show a sunrise.

We are back up next weekend to hopefully get our barge in the water and perhaps split some firewood.

Cheers everyone, looking forward to a great year!

Thanks so much Stu! Looking at those pics makes me feel like at home away from home...so familiar. Appreciate the window into how it looks this early into the season. Keep the updates coming...love them!

Think we may be seeing you in July!
Although we may only be up for a day or 2.
We will try to make it happen.
