The fishing and accommodations for the cost was simply put "Incredible".

Yes, there are other lodges on the lake but the difference is that there are strict slot limits, only allowed 4 fish to bring home, 3 must be 18" and under and only 1 over 18", our group had a hard time catching fish under 18" to fillet and bring home, The owner of the lodge almost asked the cabin beside us to leave because of keeping more fish than they could eat at supper, He found some cooked  fillets in their garbage.

I would love to go back to Kipawa Lake, Alwaki was a great place, access is easy but the fishing can be quite difficult with small fish.

The rest of the outfitters in the area like Trout Lake, Ogascanan and  Sasseginiga are all just "OK", I have stayed at all of them and until somebody ventures outside of that Quebec area we really are not aware of how well you should be being treated for the money that you are spending.
