Anyone going to the show in Harrisburg that starts this Saturday?  My son and I have made this a weekend event for the past 10 years (excluding the 1 year shut down).  It is a huge show and usually takes us most of Saturday to get through it.  I think we go mostly for the weekend away but there are always a few gear deals to be had as well.

Anyone else going?

Fishn Deep

Probably heading down the last weekend. Definitely a huge show that is worth the hour drive. Meeting up with some guys about a wild boar hunt.

Made it through the show and it seems to get bigger every year.  The fishing hall has really grown after many vendors bailed the first year the NRA took it over.  Now I think the whole show is bigger than it ever was. Cabelas booth was just a few tables promoting their credit card which was disappointing.

Got some great deals on heavy Ugly Sticks for down rigging.  Seven foot 20-50lb rod only $30 each.  Would have paid close to $110 at home.  Also picked up some great info on Alaska trips.  I'm hoping to scratch that one off my bucket list in the next few years.  Was also able to stock up on my favourite pineapple mango dipping sauce. Definitely worth the drive.
