Opening weekend (May 19 and 20)

A group of 4 of us caught about 70 fish in total. About half of the fish were in the slot size. The rest were smaller, besides one at 26 inches.

Fish were in deeper water 30ft to 40ft and were biting really light.

Thanks for the quick report; any bite at 40 feet would feel light...I would guess. I saw it was quite rainy and cool up there this past weekend...kudos to you for digging out 70 fish.

Good news!  I am here too but have opening chores etc.  Hats off to you last night their was a east wind with bad white caps at the Laniel end of the lake.  The weather isn't great.  At least the bugs aren't out lol
