hey guys, we are coming up Sept. 2. Coming from Buffalo with truck/trailer and suv and we need a place to park. the last two years we parked across from the boat launch/bait shop. i heard they sold the property so not sure we can park there. Any info would be great, thanks in advance

The one smaller lot was purchased by the town of Kipawa and is now "public washrooms" with no over night parking. However the blue house directly across from the boat launch still offers parking for vehicles and their trailers on the lawn. $5 a day is the going rate I believe.

I drive by there every weekend and there's still vehicles parked in that lot so I imagine nothing has changed.
Give Corine a call at Kipawa Bait to get the skinny on parking. 1.819.627.3595

There is also a lot across the street from Bucher's store.

Hey Mark. I'm also headed up for my first trip on Sept 2.
Brian @ Alwaki Lodge told me there is parking across the street from the boat launch. I believe he said it was $3.50/day/truck.

My father talked to Corine last week. She told him the house across from the launch was sold and she wasn't sure about parking. But anyway thanks for the replies and info, I'm sure we will find a place for the week. getting excited about the trip. Will report on the trip when we get back home.                                          thanks again, Mark

Just so everybody's on the same wavelength.  The first parking lot on the left coming down the hill in Kipawa where the "old" restaurant used to be is a max 2 hour parking limit, free. and apparently there are public toilets, I've never used them so....  Now the next parking lot on the left also is Mrs. Mongrain, who still rents her property for parking at $5 a day, this is what she charged me a few weeks ago, I don't know if she has weekly rates, etc.  This is the parking directly across the street from the govt dock/boatlaunch, she is often seen sitting on her front porch, albeit, maybe not so much this "summer" because of the "crappy" summer we've had so far, lol.  Cheers.
