Pflueger President spin reel

Lots of discussion over the last couple of years about the Pflueger President reel being a good choice (value for money and good quality, etc.).   Just thought I would let everybody know that I received Bass Pro shop's weekly email of specials and the Pflueger President spin reel is on sale Wednesday to Sunday (22nd to 26th) in stores only for half price - instead of $59.99, it is on sale for $29.97.

I looked online at their flyer (Canadian) and it is not in there - but I see it on the front of the US flyer.

If I was close to a Bass Pro shop, I would probably go pick one up... I realize this is in USD, I wonder what the Canadian stores in Toronto are doing!

Anyone in the US coming to Ottawa soon?  Pick up an extra one ok???  LOL

I have to drive to Ottawa on Friday but I hope to swing into Bass Pro in Vaughn on my way back home on Saturday.

Unfortunately there is no bass pro in Ottawa.   Only Cabela's and sail.

Still at $39.99 - a pretty good deal.

Ha!  Ends up a co-worker and buddy from Toronto is going to Canton Ohio for the US Thanksgiving and he is going to drop by the Bass Pro shop in Canton and see if they have any in stock!   Why not! Right?

There was a sale on those reels awhile back, I got one and haven't even opened the package. But I will as soon as another reel breaks down.

Greg, the way I read your post, if your buddy planning to stop by Bass Pro Shop in Canton, Ohio, he'll have to make a trip to either Toledo or Cincinnati to pick up your reel. No Bass Pro Shop in Canton.  Just a lot of sad Browns fans.

Greg, that address is a bowling alley - size of bldg and parking lot would not be near big enough to accommodate a BPS.  Somebody must have goofed up their address file.  Closest BPS to Canton is the one in Toledo (Rossford) Ohio.  More Cabelas stores in this part of the state - not so much BPS.
