We are going on a family vacation south of Kipawa. It is mainly a bass lake but has walleye. Bass are still out of season.

My daughter's future inlaw's other son really wants to fish and will probably be casting from shore. I can't think of anything he could cast that would interest walleye but not bass. Perhaps bigger spoons?? Basically you want to avoid catching bass and then not being able to fish that shoreline. There is a nice underwater sand hump coming off the shoreline there.

Thought bass season opened around june 15th this season?  That's what's printed in the guidelines for zone 13 west
Keep your stick on the ice and your rod in the water
