Just returned from another fantastic week at Alwaki with my family.  It was kind of a whirlwind trip this year with having to come home Sunday evening for my son and I to work on Monday.  Went back up Monday evening right after work to fish the rest of the week.  Saturday and Sunday were really warm out, we caught 9 lakers(no keepers biggest being 63cm) and lots of walleye jigging the troll bite was pretty slow on the weekend compared to other years. Biggest walleye was caught by my son 30" 7.03 walleye trolling on Wed. evening.  We had everything in the weather but snow but sure felt like snow for 2 days.  We did take a tour and stopped and visit lima charley and had a beer one afternoon.  I read a post about Alwaki being slow but I think all but 1 cabin had occupants in it.  We had another great week with Brian and Tina.  thanks to All

Thanks for your report Ozzy. Nice to read about a fishing trip. Congrats to your son on his 30 inch walleye. A great memory maker I'm sure.

Good one Ozzy, but I think your scale is off kilter and your lad is being short changed. A 30" Walleye should be in the 10lb range, my best up their was a bit over 31" and over 11lb. 7lb should be in the 27" range.

Ozzy30

Scale is fine, she didn't have a huge gut on her, long and lean

I tried to upload picture and tells me folder is full.
