First Hodgey it works. We have been across that bridge many times. It’s a great sight.   Ryhbak thanks for posting the satellite image. I always like seeing that.   Thanks to PG as well.   Thanks fellas

I will take May 3rd - my first choice is April 25th but that has been taken already.
Ice has broken up along the shores and there is some open water - fingers crossed we can get to camp in the next couple of weeks !

going to the camp to fish trout on May 4th.... ice, no ice, rain or shine. I keep checking the sat images.  The ice is definitely getting darker.

Thanks for the photo update.  Was hoping to see the ice darker in colour but nice to see the water levels coming back up.

Must be getting close. All the small lakes on hwy 63 cleared sunday so I suspect kipawa and surrounding lakes should open this week. Any local updates would be appreciated.

I'm at camp at Red Pine. The lake is totally clear of ice in front and almost so on the rest of Maclauglin lake.
