Has anyone been on Ogascanan this year?  I'll be there 8/4-8/10 with my dad for another round after last years success. Starting to count the days now lol!  If anyone was there this season, how was
The fishing?

Was there with my brother-in-law first week of July.  Fishing was great as usual.  The bite would start around 8 - 8:30 and would be non stop.  Most walleye in the 16 inch range.  Brother-in-law caught a 26 inches and we had a few in the 19 20 range.  I caught a 33 inch northern.  Fish were usually approx 21 ft depth.  Did catch a few in the morning and also a couple in the afternoon.  Didn't matter worm or leach.

Oops sorry we were at Sasseginaga not Ogascanon but we have fished  both lakes and they're very similar.

Thanks Chazz, sounds like you had a good trip.  By chance do you know what the water temps were?

No idea on water temps but we have fished both lakes at different times from late June thru early September (dates varied per lake) and pretty much found the walleye at 21 ft.  Don't worry the Mullens boys will put you on the fish.

Gotcha.  We were at Ogascanan last year in early August, I'm just wondering how similar it'll be this year when we get up there.
