Enjoy your photos very much. How do you get service through SpyPoint that far away from town?

Not really sure.
In the summer we have a cell signal booster running.
Last season i ran a small solar panel to power the booster.
This season so far there is enough of a signal to keep the cam running on its own.
I only have a small panel powering the camera.
The camera runs on multiple metworks...perhaps it is running on bell and rogers, depending on whatever it can find.

Having been on Hunter's lake, I'm somewhat familiar with the sparse cell tower signal. I found that being on the north side of the lake provided a clear "view" of a tower in the south so since you're on the north side of Audoin, must be nothing obstructing the airwaves.

A fiend of mine on Hunter was too close to the large hill and could get no signal.

The reason I was asking was because friends of mine moose hunt behind Hagar and don't want to invest in a game cam for fearing they won't work. I guess it depends on an unobstructed view of a tower and not great cell service.??

Cheers,

I think if he can get a bar or two on his mobile signal level he should be good. For a game cam.
I think it just takes longer and more battery to send a transmission.
We definately get days on ours where we dont get pics.
Sometimes a week goes by and you wonder if the camera is still functioning..haha.

On that note here is todays pic from sunnyside.

With little snow and those temps it will

be making ice

reelpro

you would think, but too windy.

The Lake is still wide open with whitecaps at Kipawa, probably all bigger open areas of the lake have no ice yet.

Be wary this year, a back bay may have a foot, and open areas an inch
