Well folks,
After some careful consideration, @Hodgey1 and I have decided it's time to say goodbye to KFF.

There was a glimmer of hope last year that things would pick up on the board but the last few months have proven otherwise.
We know many of you come to look at the site without posting and we respect this and also apologize for the disappointment this news may cause some of you.

But the site takes work and finances to keep running, that is the reality.
Neither of us are in a position in our lives to keep it going. Before the end date, we will be taking a full back-up of the site (as we do regularly) to preserve what we have to date (just in case someone ever decides to start it up again).

At the end of March 31st the site will go offline.

A huge thank you to everyone who, over the years, contributed so much to make this site what it is.
We wish you all a heartfelt goodbye, wish you all the best, and hope you make it to Kipawa as often as your heart desires........

Days spent fishing don't count against life :)

Thank you to all of the people that started this site , kept it going and contributed. We learned a great deal from the people that contributed.   Hope to see you on the lake.

Thank you all.
It has been a Blast.
Many friendships created here.
Sorry to see it go but all good things must come to an end.

See you at the Temrose.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

Sorry to hear this news but understand the time & effort required to keep it going. Thanks to the Admin and to all the contributors - we've spent a lot of time here and learned A LOT from everyone, which made out trips to Ogascanan and Kipawa that much more enjoyable.

Thanks to all that have supported the site over the many years. I can recall WAAAAAY back when it was more like a string of texts than an actual web site. Those were the days, but many connections and info gained/shared over the years make it all a fantastic diversion from common life and a true conduit to friends with this common love of a lake. This year will be my 27th on Kipawa and hopefully will enjoy many, many more. If you want to connect with me I can be found at trross5555@gmail.com. Glad to share what info I've learned through my time on that piece of heaven...it certainly is a special place. Thanks Fort and Hodgey for the past few years of admin and support...you guys are great! Until next time...keep dreamin' those Kipawa dreams!

Greatly appreciate the work that the current admin and past admin have done.  I understand your decision, but will miss this site.  Thank you, Dave.
