Headed up to Laniel end of the lake for a short stay at chalets Dianne. We fished in colder and wetter weather than previous years. Lakers where hard to hook up with but the bass pike and walleye where abundant. Not sure on numbers as I don't keep count. My son Joel lost a huge pike looked to be 40 plus at the boat as I was just about to net it.
We did land this buety that I got pics of and have ordered a Fiberglas mount of. 32.5 in walleye

That is one gorgeous sow!  As John said: "Really, really nice walleye".

Now for details:
what did you catch her on and how deep?

C'est une truie magnifique! Comme l'a dit John: "Vraiment, vraiment bien doré".

Maintenant, pour plus de détails:
qu'est-ce que vous l'attrapez sur et à quelle profondeur?

Whoa. I've heard about fish like that. I've seen pics of fish like that. They must exist....they just don't like my jiggy...

Excellent fish.
That is exactly what is in my Avatar.
I'm holding a fiberglass mount of a 32.5 inch walleye.

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

awesome fish! Congrats and hearing stories of fish lost at the boat make me want to get a get pro and strap it to my head to capture all the fish I catch on video... I'm sure Crab feels the same way after his camera malfunctions this year while fishing solo.

Nice fish JOW! I talked with Dave last week and he said the weather has been wet and cooler than normal lately. Did you catch that around Strawberry island?

Brad
600 miles north is where I'd rather be!

Hi Brad,ya we stopped in and said hello to Dave. Funny thing is he went boating past us and he made that motion that all fisherman make,u know the "this big of a fish"motion with arms spread out  lol well as soon as he got by us is when I set the hook into that fish. Too funny,up till that point we only where landing little guys.

Fish was caught off that point across from the sand bar

600 miles north

That is where we caught most of our walleye when we were up earlier this summer! Sure is a beauty!

Holly smokes, what a Walleye.

Jow, how was chalets Dianne? Have you stayed there before?

I love the area and loved fishing in the Zec with Johnnywalleye, the wife however would like to try Kipawa.
So I am looking hard at chalets Dianne, I just haven't seen any reports on it.
