Hey gang!
Any one know what (if any) fueling options are available on the lake besides right in Kipawa and Laniel?
As most of you know we'll be boating a fair bit on the lake this July and I'd like to cover as much water as possible.
Our boat has a pretty long range at cruising speed but I figured it wouldn't hurt to know just how far out we are from the nearest gas up area just in case.

I'm wondering about on the east of of the lake toward Grindstone / Red Pine and the north end of the lake above Ile Fox?
I have emailed the Moreau's at Kipawa Lodge.
I've passed by their lodge a number of times by boat but have never stopped so I don't know what facilities are there.
Does anyone know if say 3 seasons or anyone in the neck of the lake sells to the public?
I guess I could email them as well......

Thanks for any information anyone might have.
Thursday (2-July-2015) can't come quick enough!

Thanks @rambler.....that's an area of the lake I've never been to, so we're hoping to get that far up.
I'll email them and find out.
Appreciate the information!

The problem is most pumps are private  because you need a special license to sell gas on the lake.  Camps can sell to their own clients but if they sell outside of their business they need this license.  The cost is too high to make it worth while

Seems to be nothing at my end of the lake.I've looked around a few times. I gotta drive to town to get gas unless a neighbour can and has helped me out.
Days spent fishing don't count against life :)

@puckster_guy, yeah I'm finding the same thing.......
None of the lodges / depots that I've contacted sell publicly.
Which, I guess, is part of the beauty of Kipawa though isn't it? It's not heavily developed!
A jerry can strapped to the back of our boat should get us out of a pinch and back to Kipawa.
