I also had Advanced replicate a 32.5 walleye for myself. Turned out great. Not 100% but very great quality and detail. I kept the jig that I caught it on and hung it in its yap. The one thing I felt was different on the rep vs the real one was the length of the outer gill plate. The real fish had a bigger, longer plate. I would do it again on another fish for sure. It's a great feeling knowing I watched that fish swim away.

I didn't expect what I found out - to get a replica made of a 26 inch fish, is $22 an inch, then a half decent attractive looking mount is $50 to $100 - after tax, this would be over $700 Canadian.  WOW!  Apparently our dollar is so bad right now, that this is driving the price of the replica's up (as the materials come out of the US).  A year ago, it was $15 or $16 an inch.

I thought... hmmmm... $700 for a nice fish (not a great fish, but a nice one) or I could go for another long weekend up to Kipawa for $700!!!   I don't know if another trip is in my near future, but I think I am going to pass on the replica for now.

Advances prices could be higher due to their clientel.
They have contracts with Bass Pro and Cabelas to fill their new stores full of replicas.
Who needs business from pea-ons like us.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

The owner of advanced told me he's not doing bass pro and cabales Too much work he said. Used to but not anymore. That's what he told me in June
