WOW, what an odd summer/fall this has been!
We got rained down on most of it July and August and now, here we are, end of September in a heat wave that would be hot even on the hottest of summer days!
Anyhow, the summer at camp was great.
We truly hope everyone else had a great time despite the weather or any other circumstances that could potentially get in the way.

I'll let the pictures do the talking in terms of what we got done, we're still sorting through pictures and I hope to post more soon:

What a piece of heaven. I looked threw your picture's and was beyond envious. You guys have built a really nice place to retreat from the insanity that is today's life, I could definitely see myself decompressing there for a few weeks 

You don't have to tell exactly where it is, but could you let me know where it is approximately?

Thnaks @Hodgey1, we are in Mattawan Township, yes after a number of years of selling and buying to find what will suit us for now and for when we're old and grey (oh wait, older and greyer, oh wait, I have little left to go grey LOL)

Pretty darn good work FW, looks mint. Looks like the kids love it already. I wish I had my place when my brats were that age, oh well the grandkids are gonna Love it.

We were hoping to get more done this summer but such is life.....

Having the kids up there for the whole summer was great. Some moments were a touch of a challange trying to balance between being "Mr. Mom" and "reno guy" but it was awesome and they were really good.
That being said, I was very thankful to have my wife there on the weekends to help with the monkeys lololol

I was looking through some old trip pics from when we rented Jamie's place down in Grindstone.
We have a sweet shot of yours.....I should send your way!

 Ty Brent. I've been working on mine  for 4 yrs now. Doing as much as I could and paying contractors as the bread became available. Finally almost there. I got ceilings and some paneling  to do in the bedrooms. ( I have the materials) and all the floors. Need a water heater and some plumbing and I'm done with the interior. Hopefully by next June. I'm done working on it for this year. Bring the clan over next summer I'd love to show it off.

Hey Joe, we've been meaning to come over for a few years now!
Soon we will finally make the trip, it's long overdue.

This little cabin we're currently working on will eventually just be a sleep cabin for family or friends so we're not going to crazy with it.
That being said I often wish we went a little bigger so that right now we could have friends over for more then just an afternoon.
That also being said, it would be a waste to build bigger for us knowing eventually it will be a limited use building.

LOL, I sound like a rambling old man don't I?
