I know they make a great breakfast. They should be good for dinner. There's a nice cafe near there as well with excellent sandwiches, and different coffee's including expresso. Same side of the street towards the ball diamond.
Too bad the White Oaks ain't open any more. I used to like go for a drink there. It was always good for a party, often with live music.
Days spent fishing don't count against life :)

That's a fallfish for sure. Whitefish have a different mouth and slightly flatter body, and are more "white", not so "silver"...body gets quite narrow as you get closer to the tail on a whitey. I prefer to not even handle fallfish...such stinky little buggers. Fortunately I didn't see / hook a single one this year.

Try a Titan Burger (named after the local hockey team ) from the Tem Rose, you won't be disappointed !

Hey @Oarin...wanted to comment quickly as I know you're heading up this weekend again.

Saw your post from a couple weeks ago about hoping to get leeches; I wouldn't count on it. From what I understand when we were up there a few weeks ago, they were in short supply and I believe the bait store was receiving their last order on like Aug 1st or 2nd. But, fret not, we noticed no meaningful difference between crawlers and leeches and we caught tons of fish. AND...crawlers are so much easier to take care of...and just a fraction of the cost.

Have a great trip...
