Only 17 more days, and I cant believe how fast this years trip has approached.  Cant wait to hit the lake, usually go up a week or two later, but I want the bugs to be a challenge.  lol.  Anyone else going up that weekend, were staying in Temiscaming Friday night the 9th, if anyone wants to buy me a beer, this is the big 50 week for me

RHYBAK

Captain Crappie and Commander Bluegill will be at the Auberge Friday June 9

Ah, Rybak we are breaking tradition this year!  The Captain and I will not be staying at the Auberge - we are switching to Tem-Rose this year.  We will be visiting the Auberge on the way out to make certain "deliveries"  ;)

My grandson is sooo excited to be going - has the signs of a memorable trip already!
I don't know how to act my age - I have never been this old before!

Good for you.
Traditions are made to be broken.

Hopefully you might be starting a new tradition with the grandsons.
Take lots of pictures with them and those ear to ear grins.

See you Saturday June 17 for breakfast

I will be sitting out at Auberage on Friday June 9th, maybe even downing a Wildcat

Oarin

Lambert, are they selling Wildcat again?

Fort Wisers

Will be up at my bro's camp with him and my dad. Its our annual "bros and the old man" weekend.
Looking forward to it.....

Mlambert

Oarin, I am not sure if they are selling Wildcat again, I remember up at the dock in Laniel, they would sell it, good ole nasty beer

T-Bone

Given the rating on beeradvocate (1 out of 5 stars) not sure of the appeal, but Labatt appears to still sell / market the product. It's still on their web site. Looks like the equivalent to Busch, Blatz, Old Milwaukee, or maybe Stroh's here in the states. Go for the 'strong' version to really ensure that terrible beer-rotten gut-nasty head banger afterglow it's sure to deliver....

4 more hours until I pull out and head up.....why is it the last 4 hours feel longer then the previous 4 weeks?

This is why I leave in the mornings  ;D

That's just mean @RHYBAK LOL, safe travels!

Anyone out on the lake tonight (around 8-9pm maybe?), watch for me zipping across from Kipawa village to Bronson on a small 12' alum boat......might be a refreshment in hand because dehydration is dangerous this time of the year.
Have a great weekend everyone.....

Oarin

T-Bone the only beeradvocate I need is me. Don't need a magazine to tell me what I like, however, my son and son-in-law are beer snobs too.35 more LONG days!!
