I saw it a year ago, and then it looked very good.  I can't wait to see it when finished.

TY guys. That's most appreciated. Almost there. Gonna relax the rest of the year and pick it up next year again and finish. Much landscaping to do but that can wait till I retire. If your in the area drop by for a beer and a chin wag.

Yea that didn't work. I suggest you join imgur, it works quite well. Drag and drop pics to upload. Click on pic, click on BBCode which will copy it , then paste in your post.
Cheers

I think I might have to. They ask for a phone number and I don't wanna give it out randomly. I just changed mine recently because of getting too many telemarketers calling. Upto 5 a day. Since I got my new number about 6 weeks ago. I haven't gotten any yet. My last number I had for close to 10 yrs and was everywhere.

OK, finally back in business pic wise that is. I had a major spurt of activity a couple of years ago when I dumped about $20k in to the construction. I got 3/4 of the exterior covered. The front still isn't done, the materials for that is under the camp so that's my priority this summer. 80% of the interior got done at that time too. Last year and the one before that work was hit and miss as money came available. I got two bedroom floors covered with a nice looking laminate flooring with a third room waiting to get done. Last spring I bought a load of t&g pine and covered all the bedroom ceilings and the hallway. I had some left over so I covered one wall in the third bedroom with it. Man that looks good. I already covered the walls in the other two bedrooms with paneling looking at it after I hung that wall in pine. I'm removing it and replacing it with the t&g pine. Last time I was up I hung a couple of ceiling fans in the hallway and a bedroom and boy do they look good. One snag in the hallway is that the blades hit the wall so I decided to trim them down (not done yet.) and make them fit. Last spring I installed an on demand propane hot water heater. What a blessing to have running hot water for the first time. Now I can shower and do dishes without a big production.
Electrical is almost done a couple of outlets to install and I'm good to go. I would like to double the number of batteries from 6 to 12 but thats not a priority right now. I bought a full size used electric refrigerator as an experiment to see how my system would cope with it.I got it at a used appliance store and it's an older standard unit. I have been running a bar fridge just fine with no issues. I found with the full size one I was good for power as long as it was sunny most of the day. On cloudy or rainy days I found myself running the genny for several hours to top up the batteries. There's not enough juice to run it in the spring or fall when we don't get a lot of sun but my propane fridge can be used for those days. The electric saved my buying a lot of propane over the summer. Time to look for a more efficient fridge.
As for furnishings it's still minimalistic. No bedroom furniture or beds I'm sleeping on air mattresses on the floor, reminds me of my camping days lol. A couch in the living room, kitchen table and computer station rounds up furnishings for now. As you guys know I retired in the spring so my money supply dried up. I had hoped to work thru the winter as a contractor in the aviation biz where I worked but that work has dried up. It's a feast or famine biz so I'll get work where I can to finish up and hopefully replace my old boat. Here's a few pics to show how far I got...
