General Discussion / Re: Best Catch / Memory Pics

Yes it was one of 8 we caught in a row - 30 or 40 minutes of Big Walleye one after another.

From 27 to 33 inches - I guess even big walleye swim in same year class schools

If you get a big one , have someone keep fishing - may be more with her.

 :o

This was another of the bigger ones that day.  Casting lures along a shoreline.

Much appreciated.    We are used to fishing around Alwalki in the evening until dark.  Might have to call it quit before total  dark in order to get to the dock without hitting anything.

Thank you ozzy.    I was going to look for spots on my topo map this winter.    The areas you mentioned will give me a starting point.

I think Wayne supplies the camps with spot maps, being that early in the year fish are still moving and up by butneys and narrows into hunter will have moving water.  Points relating to these spots should be good.  Saying that after initial opening couple weeks the fishing does seem to get a bit tougher until they get on summer spots.

Hi guys.   After so many wonderful years at Alwaki Lodge it has come to an end.    Brian and Tina have sold off the rest of the camps.   Our group will be going to Kipawa Lodge for the first time.    We are familiar with Hunter and Grindstone.    We will be there next year the second week of June.    Any suggestions for walleye spots other than Grindstone would be appreciated.   Thanks in advance
