Hi Marty, welcome to the forum, I'm just down the road from you, outside Oxford Mills.
I don't fish much anymore and haven't fished Kipawa since I was a kid so I wont be much help for you in that department but let's meet up for a coffee at Tims sometime.

 Hello to all,

New to the forum, love to fish, main targets are walleye, bass, lakers. But I'll take anything. Live in Kemptville On.

I've booked an ABB on Baie-Dorval for for second week of Sept. Super excited. Looking for any advice, tips, suggestions, locations anyones willing offer up.

I believe we need to launch in Laniel.

Cheers, Marty

Good luck up there, we are headed up Friday as well for our yearly week at the wonderful Kipiwa lodge. So far the weather looks pretty good compared to last year for us.  Bringing Musky gear up this year, i heard there are some big pike in the lake!

Fishing Discussion / Trip to Kipawa
Last post by Flystik - August 11, 2025, 08:57:46 AM
I and my gang are headed to Kipawa on Friday morning.  Food is purchased and ready to pack except for IGA purchases.  Fishing equipment is all packed.  Fly fishing this year will be limited to top water only.  I packed a little more equipment to use for spinning rods, including rigs for drop-shot, jigs, wacky and more plugs (flying blind with plugs as I seldom use them).  Single malt Scotch tradition will be continued as well Blue purchase across border.

Like others on this forum, this is the trip I look forward to the most every year.
I just returned from a SMB trip to Maine and I have a trip scheduled to BC in late September.  Getting on in years, trying to get as much in while I still can.

Will report back most trip.

It's a general trend away from forums. Forums have written words combined into sentences and paragraphs.

I always liked the fishing reports mostly to see familiar and unfamiliar parts of the lake along with the characters within those reports.
