Can't wait!! Heading to Alwaki Lodge for a week tomorrow again!! WOOT!

Yup, I'm very excited. This is our first chance to fish since the may long weekend. We've had a crazy busy summer. What did I do this summer that prevented my intended many trips to kip.

1) New Garage tasks.
     a) Paining garage interior 5 times, due to faulty paint UGH!!
     b) Installing Garage Cabinets and slat wall... they are awesome!
     c) Hand building a 25' retaining wall, which included digging by hand UGH!! Should have just rented a machine, I ended up having to dig 3-4' deeper than expected.

2) Loss of our old girl Suzy, she was an amazing companion and very competitive. She succeeded in Hunt tests and Field Trials. This is our first fishing trip in 12 years without her

3) An unexpected deal on a new pup from Texas, man I feel to old for a 8 week old puppy!!

4) Oh and lot's of retriever training


..really need this week, can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

If your at Alwaki or see us on the water. Come say HI! Look for a camo lund tiller. We'll be the boat with 2 adults chasing  a 3 month old black lab around the boat while we yell at the older one to stop whining at the lures! Should be a good show for anybody around us HAHA!

Sounds like lots of fun.Hope the eyes are biting. Are you using barbless hooks?? They're a lot easier and painless to extract from an exuberant pup. lol
