Fly Eagles Fly

Just wondering if anybody knows where this lake is located and if you have fished it in the past with much success?

Cheers!

Grassy is in a chain of 3 lakes that also includes Watson and wolf.  There is a single outfitter with basic cabins, boats, motors. I fish the general area but I’ve never been there. I have talked and corresponded with a few folks that have. From what I understand it is a dark water lake with pike and walleye. Fishing is reportedly good but not as good as a fly in.

There is also an outfitter on Watson. Wolf is in zec kipawa with no outfitters.

Our group has been staying on Watson Lake (one lake down the Kipawa River) for over 30 years.  There are two sets of rapids between Watson and Grassy.  The first set (travelling from Watson to Grassy) is very navigable.  The second set is only navigable in the spring in extremely high water.  We have, however pulled a boat up the rapids from shore a few times over the years and fished in Grassy.  Always did well...Walleye and Pike are the main species (neither lake has lake trout that I know of).  Honestly, we mostly stay in Watson and the Kipawa River because its too hard to get the boat up to Grassy.
