Fort Wisers

Hi everyone,
I know this summer is going to look different for many.....
Yet, here's hoping you still find yourself discovering and enjoying a new adventure this season.

For us, summer doesn't officially begin until the canoes are strapped to the truck for their journey north to live at the camp for the season.
There the canoes wait patiently for us to take them on some new outing, be it a quick afternoon paddle or a multi-day trek. Yesterday the kids and I spent the day prepping the canoes, patching up a few nicks, cracks and one small hole acquired from past trips, then strapped them to the truck yesterday evening. We also applied a left over KFF sticker purchased a number of years ago to the truck. So we should be set lol.....

From our family to you and yours, have a safe and fun summer, we hope you get a chance to get out and enjoy.....

Thanks and you have a safe and happy summer

Thanks Ft Wisers. it's looking like it'll be another great summer at camp. Fishing is picking up and life is good.

Thanks! Your summer is looking a lot different than mine, at this date. Still hoping to get up to Kipawa at some point, but in the meantime I've been re-constructing my golf swing and working daily at the range and playing as much as possible. Between that and work I'm staying busy and trying to keep my mind off of whether or not that border will open.

Happy Canada Day to all tomorrow...be safe out there and enjoy the festivities!!!

2 years of working on that swing?  You could be PGA bound next year and not have time for kipawa once the world opens up.  I would say that when you do make it across the border we should get out and play around but I thinking fishing and drinking together sounds alot more fun.  See all you guys soon hopefully

Well...the first 1.9 years were futile attempts of self-teaching and tweaking. I finally caved-in and went to a pro who gave me the insights I needed and it's already showing in my game. It's a hard change...takes massive amounts of practice.

But you're right, I think some fishing and beers sounds like a bit more fun...  ;). Hope to see you too soon, Ozzy...

I'll stick to fishing. It's more fun trolling a shoreline sipping a cold beverage then driving a fairway. Hey that's just me... ;) :)
