The Boarder  Officer will be on strike by then ,which could cause issue for reopening.

Without a contract since June 2018-Hope they get everything they ask for.

Does anybody know what the situation is if an American goes up to Canada, but then comes back to US? Closure extended to Aug 21 coming south. That could jack things up in a hurry if a quarantine is called for upon return.

There would be irony in this. All along it was the Canadian border opening too slowly and then in the end Americans could get tripped up on returning to the US. Canadians can fly into the US but can't drive across. Somethings gotta give.
