latest time of year fishing Kipawa

Hi gang,
Just wanted to know what was the latest anyone fished Lake Kipawa with success. Has anyone done October fishing?

Guess a real good answer would be, How long can you stand the cold?
I have always found Late Fall Fishing to be the BEST.
Mind you, I chase Small Mouth Bass mostly and find Jerkbaits as the most exciting way of catching my fine finned friends.
Love the catching just for the catching, not the keeping.
I know Walleyes are the same, enjoy the sport and be safe.
Find Balls of baitfish and you're in heaven.

I would love to try Kip in October. I just have not been able to find a lodge that will rent to fisher(people) in October.

There are a few mentioned in an earlier thread that I created a few weeks ago. You might try them .. let us know if they do rent cabins
to people who want to fish in October.

Neno from Cedar Valley Lodge let me know that he is open for October rentals.
Tell him Patrick sent you.
He plans on staying open until the end of October. He also runs a moose hunt.

I've fished right up to Cdn Thanksgiving for walleye.

 I've fished into late November. With some laker action. I find fishing good here till the lake turnover. After that good luck finding them. With random hits while trolling.
