Was up last weekend for May 2-4

Drove about 45 mins from Laniel to the narrows just by Butney Island

Chartreuse jigs worked well with leeches. Got four walleye in about a hour.

How’s everyone else’s trips going?

I had a group of guys up last weekend and caught lots.  Trolling and jigging hunter lake and up by Corbeau.  6 guys brought there count home, I didn't take any because I'll be up every weekend to the cottage.  Lots of good size also.  We released 5 or 6 over the slot size with 6.5 lbs being our biggest

@LanielKid -Not sure why you're travelling so far for fish? A friend of mine lives in Laniel and he's catching many keepers right there. All around Ile aux Fraises.

I don’t drive the boat, I just catch the fish!

(We wanted to run the boat a little bit and it was a test run for a trip to the lodge in two weeks.)

Sounds promising, we'll be up June 11th. Keep the reports coming in!!
@LanielKid what depth were they at?

LanielKid

@BigChief

Usual depth. From 12-15ft was good, 15-20ft was okay.
