Well it's official now. After 20 years or so of migrating south Smallies how now made it down to Red Pine Chute. How far they keep going from there is anyone's guess. Is there any physical barrier that could stop them? Puckster has likely met a couple of these posters.

I was actually wondering about that Joe, just wasn't sure.  How was the bass, been hearing they taste pretty out of the cold waters?

Cleaned but not eaten yet. I'll let you know. Adds a new dimension to the lake. I got 4 walleye last night after 7pm flat lining in over 100ft not far from MacKenzies camp. Still lots of walleye.

Nothing wrong with the Bass from Kipawa.
They taste fine and they are not wormy.

I have been told the same by others catching and eating them while at Alwaki. Here at home, it is not on the eat list.

My neighbor here eats the Bass all the time

For me as long as I can get Pickerel/Walleye I do not keep Bass

But they are fun to catch and some pretty big ones too
