Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.

Well...all good things must come to an end. But, on the bright side...when one season ends, certainly another (of some sort) is beginning.

And I don't know...between Puck and Ozzy and others on this board, I'm confident we'll get updates from the north here and there.

Stay well all!

Lots to look forward to in 2023, especially going back to Kipawa!

Hello everyone.

Lots of changes this year at the Sunnyside camp.
I will try to get some pics etc up on the board as soon as we get some free time.

We will also try to occasionally post any updates or pics we receive from friends who are local to the area.
As many of you know Gus who is directly across from the government launch is usually the first to have a boat in the water come spring. We will be sure to share any pics or details we hear from them.

Looking forward to another season up there...counting the days..

Cheers everyone!

I'm still fishing on the Ottawa river another couple of weeks - I got 2 pike and a bass this morning in a total of about 3 hours of casting... wind came up so we got off the water by 11:30.

With luck, another couple of weeks left!

Stu & Erin - Amazing how much work you have done to the place, looking forward to seeing it evolve.

Sounds like a big gang is going to on the lake July 29 to Aug 5... hope we can all get together!

Still here at camp. I'll be outta here in a week or so. Just enjoying the last few days before I hit the big city. except for some year rounders I feel like I'm the only one left at Red Pine. Been out fishing the last couple of days and I have the lake to myself. Unless we get a heatwave I won't be back here til New Years. Spent the last 2 here and I wanna continue. It was a wonderful summer. Fishing was below average but met a few from here on the lake. It was a nice treat. We'll do that again next year, hopefully meet a few more of you wonderful folk. All in all a great summer. See y'all next year...... Joe
Days spent fishing don't count against life :)

Closed the camp and
winterized a week ago.

The fat lady has sung on this year

Surprised at how high the water is still approaching the end of October

3 years ago, I pulled the boat the
middle of September because I was afraid of bottom of boat would hit the bottom of lake

I sure hope it goes down before we get ice or there might be some damage to docks

Time for an "ICE IN" pool.

ICE IN is the first day a local snowmobiles safely across the lake to their camp.
