I wanted to let everyone know we lost a good man on the morning of Sep 9th, SgtCrabby passed away suddenly.

The reality of his passing has not set in yet for anyone in our family. We are gathering in Texas end of the month to honor and celebrate his life.

Richard really loved this forum and the friendships it created for him which was the primary reason he became a moderator so I know he would want you all to know.

Tight lines,

darn Dog...that's terrible news...I'm so sorry as I know you shared a special friendship with him.

And though you guys haven't been that active on the forum for a bit, those were some special times when "the guys from Texas" would take the long venture up to Kipawa. A long trip for sure...making it that much more special.

Again...so sorry to hear this news. I wish peace for you and the extended family you share with SgtCrabby.

So sorry to hear. Always willing to give advice on this board. Wish I could have met him in person although I believe we ran into each other on the lake.
