Motel Au Bercail

Anyone know if Motel Au Bercail is still in operation?
I've been calling and just getting voicemail.

They appeared open a few weeks back when we went by there (did not stay there). We've been leaning toward staying in North Bay past few years as both the Au Bercail and Auberge Canadienne were quite run-down the last couple times we stayed there. The Auberge Temrose is a good option for clean and modern rooms in Temiscaming, but about 50% more expensive. But...you're on vacation...what's $50 CDN split across a couple guys?

Thank you T-Bone and I absolutely agree on the extra $50. We will have our Boxer with us and need a dog friendly place to stay the night.

They are still open, just made our August reservation.

I dont think they are very busy but I have a reservation for tomorrow night. had the same experience but found that calling late afternoon or early eve is best chance of staff being there. may also make a difference which number you call. I got through on the 819 627 3476 rather than toll free.

Same as above. The 800 number is no good.  Had to call multiple times to get a person. Finally did about 5 pm about a week ago.
