All I can think about is wetting my line on beautiful Lake Kipawa in a few days.  From what I've seen/heard the fishing has turned on in the past couple weeks.  This will be my 21st year at Cedar Valley Lodge and the excitement never go's away.  Last year we made a second trip in August and the fishing was just as amazing as it is in June.  Doing the same this year.  I didn't get a chance to post a report for the August trip, but let's just say it was very memorable.  I really liked the fact that the bugs were non existent in August.  I have a feeling they are going to be out in full force next week.   Anyone else on here heading north for the 20th-27th? I haven't seen much in the line of reports.  Did everyone retire from fishing or what?

Walleye Wacker,we plan on being at 3 Seasons the first 2 weeks of August. Will you be at Cedar Valley then ? If so maybe try and look you up !

Will be at Two Moon Lodge June 20-27th... We go the same week every year.. Usually good for 400+ fish for the week for four guys.. Like to fish for everything too.. Play with the Bass and Lakers while waiting for the night Walleye bite.. Absolutely LOVE going.. Today is my last day of work, so vacation begins in about 3 hours.. Good luck on your trip.. Hope you hammer them..

We're up at Grindstone 2-July to 5-July.
Also up at Dead Bear Bay 25-July to 1-Aug.
We'll be all over the lake exploring (assuming no boat issues).

Leaving for Alwaki June 26 thru July 4th. Starting to count the hours, I better get my stuff packed. I'll report when we return. This will be my 8th trip to Kipawa and not the last.
