First chance to go up since early June. I gotta retire, work gets in the way of every thing. besides not having any luck finding a suitable truck to get me to camp. Anyways borrowing my bro's truck to go fishing and some sorely needed r&r. Returning Monday or Tuesday. If your in the area pls drop in o/w I'll send a report next week. Have a great weekend guys.

Hey fun Joe and enjoy they R&R!

Got home late last night. A nice quiet uneventful trip. Just what ole puckster needed. It poured rain all day friday didn't get out at all. Sat was cloudy spent all day on the water scouting some new spots with some success. one shoal I been meaning to check out produced a couple of nice walleye it topped at 20 feet among 60 foot depths. Gotta try this one at prime time. Another small point found me a few more. all in all 9 walleye and a 3 pound pike. not a bad day. Sunday was too blustery to go out so I busied myself at camp, going out at 7 for a quick troll when the wind died down. Monday the sun came out went for a morning troll took some pictures,  cleaned up and drove home by noon. an amazing weekend in paradise.....

Glad to read that you finally got in some peace and quiet up Kipawa way. 9 walleye isn't bad either. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Puckster, you have me chomping at the bit.    Those pictures and report are to tempting.  I'm drooling and raring to go.
That's it, as soon as I finish loading out, I'm out of here and heading north.

Where are you located Joe? I think we're squeezing a mini trip next Tues - Thurs.

I'm at the red pine chutes just where the Kipawa river empties into MacLauglan Lake. Driving a blue 17 foot chrestliner with a black Suzuki motor on it. Cruise by for a beer. Where are you staying?

Just a question but what happened to the camp right by the bridge on Red Pine that had the trailer that was always very well maintained. It was sort of a landmark for us.

600 miles north

Good to hear PG, like always thanks for sharing the great pics of the lake... if I sit close enough to the computer screen I feel like I am on the lake!  ;) Cheers!

600 miles north is where I'd rather be!

Thats a good question.I don't know. The guy always kept his place spotless. Maybe he was forced to move when they sold the land around where he kept his place or is building a camp. I'll ask around.
