THE WALL

The only one we reference as the wall is at the top end of the lake  just to the right as entering Smith Bay

Thanks Rhybak.   I probably got the reference from one of your groups many reports anyway.

I was wondering, does Smith Bay primarily have a sand bottom?

I have fished around Two Moon many years and you do not have to go far to find good fishing spots.  I'm have been fishing Sunny Side for the last three years and it is along way from Sunny Side to Two Moon.   I have found the fish size to be a lot larger in the Two Moon area. There are a lot of good spots in the Two Moon area.  Good Luck with your fishing.

I would like to find out if anyone has heard about new regulations re: lake trout this year.  I was up there last August and the rumor was that they were going to go to a catch and release only or stop lake trout fishing all together.  Thank you in advance for any information. Sorry, I saved this to the wrong place.

Yes, I don't have any doubt the fishing nearby the camp will be just fine.   I am not one to travel 30km to find fish, unless I have no choice.   Just interested in why some spots hold fish, but I don't know where the spots are located ;).

Thanks!

There are other spots with similar names you have mentioned that are not on the map.  These spots were nick names for certain spots from 40 years ago.  I generally stay clear of the spots u have mentioned.  The lake is large and there are many other great spots tha t hold large fish
