Identifying a couple of locations

I was just wondering if anyone knew where the following were located on the lake:

The Wall
Sunnyside Sandbar
Sand Spit
Macadam's Bay

Just trying to identify these areas so I can identify similar structures.

I can help you with the last two.  Both are not too far from Laniel.  I can give you directions if u like

Yes...have fished Sunnyside [Depot] many, many times. Actually, the 'sand bar' is actually a different location than Sunnyside Depot, but very close. It's a tall hill of sorts seemingly made completely of sand. The feature off that in the water is a slow sloping sand bar...decent walleye location.

Thanks.  I actually just found Bae Mac Adams on one of my maps near Laniel.    Is Sand Spit near that?

Is the Sunnyside Depot near Sandy Portage??

When you fish the sand bars, are you fishing the bottom transition? or the flats?

Our group keeps going to Sandbar and I've never seen one caught in the few years I have gone. But, can't change others thoughts. Lol

Here you go...this should help. Of the locations ID'd here, we've pulled a lot of fish from Sunnyside, but gets a lot of boats...especially on weekends. We've caught fish at Sand Banks...dragging the jig. The point toward the main lake just west of Lindros' camp has produced too...big structure there. Within that area, we have ID'd other locations that we consider 'go to' spots...hence my comment that you never have to travel far from our cabin at Alwaki Lodge to get into walleyes, pike...even lakers. Those, however, are not necessarily made public.

Thanks T-Bone.   It's extremely unlikely I'll be fishing down in that area at all.     I am more interested in what the structure is like so I know what to look for elsewhere.    Sunnyside Depot and Sand Banks have the characteristics of classic Walleye spots.    There are some nice shoals in that area too.  Looks like a great place to fish.   I'll definitely be putting Alwaki high on my list next time.

I'll say it this way; we've caught plenty of fish at Sunnyside and even the Sand Banks, but that's not typically where we go or the kind of structure we fish for 'eyes on Kipawa. There are times that are perfect for that structure, but not a majority of the time...

Early spring I find current areas work best and good size.

The Sand Spit is actually called "Sandy Portage" on the map.  Its down a ways from MacAdams Bay.  You haven't said when u are going or where u are staying.  These areas are better at certain times of the year.  If you can tell me when I can help u with the wear.

The only one we reference as the wall is at the top end of the lake  just to the right as entering Smith Bay
