good morning getthenet. I had forgotten about it. Last couple times I went I was very disappointed , although I admit I don't know what to expect differently. The year it was in the convention center we stayed less than an hour. Monroeville was a big improvement but it seems the economy had an impact on number of outfitters . Curious as to whether people go simply for cabin fever or specifically to look for a new place to hunt or fish. with us it was usually cabin fever . One trip to Monroeville years ago was to pick up my dads walleye mount from Art when he owned Bush country camp.I think dad got a charge at 75 getting all the comments as he carried it out. please post a report on the show. thanks.
So many lures and so little time.

I'll be there in the Taggart Bay Lodge shirt.

Yes,I along with my wife, nephew and his girlfriend made it to the Monroeville Sportsman Show on Saturday (2/20/16).What was there was well organized and enjoyable. However we were somewhat disappointed at the size,we seen the whole thing in about 2 hours, and that was walking in first gear ! However,Straub Beer was one of the sponsors, you know what that meant,FREE SAMPLES !!! Didn't buy anything, but was tempted.Had a very enjoyable conversation with Jeff and Jane Landriault, owners of Ellen Island Camp on Lady Evelyn Lake near Haileybury,Ontario.(Is this where maybe you stayed, adempsey and Canoebuck ?)Looking at their web site and talking to them, seems like they have an A-1 camp! On a scale of 1-10,I would give the show a 6+.
