Hi Roger,

There are three trip reports out of Cedar Valley Lodge in the Trips Reports section. You might find the information you are after in those reports.

Walleye Wacker

Hi Roger,

I have been staying at cedar valley for more than 20 years in a row.  If all go's well I'll be there June 18th and Aug 13th this year.  The lodging is always very clean and so are the boats.  They have a mix of newer fiberglass and older aluminum.  All with very reliable 15hp Yamaha 2 strokes.  The owner and his wife are great people and will point you in the right direction.  The lodge is situated in a secluded cove off the main lake which makes it ideal when the wind is blowing hard.  You can drive all the way to the lodge but with there new parking/dock location where they pick you up this saves a couple hours.  I can't say enough good things about cedar valley and its owners. They are constantly improving everything.  You won't be disappointed unless you run into a spell of bad weather.  Hope this helps.  Doug/AKA The Walleye Wacker.

RHYBAK

Hey Doug

I'll be up again the same week in June ( 18-25)
See you at the Cliff again?

Too many boats out there two years ago for my liking.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

Kill Switch

We go every year to Cedar Valley.
The cabins are rustic but do the job. Boats. choice of fibreglass or aluminum with 15HP Yamahas. Reliable motors.
The owners do all they can to make sure you have a great trip.
Every year I meet great people. Lst year it was a couple of guys from Pennsylvania who had me in stitches for day.
My gut tells me it might be Walleye Wacker!
