There's nothing wrong with Muskoka except that its too crowded.
Everybody is a genius.

it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.

Ya Muskoka sounds about right..why the heck you would want to advertise a lake like this on Instagram / twitter / facebook.. is beyond me...

No it's not a secret..but man.. why promote pressure..i'll never understand it and I'm a programmer ;)

All of these negative comments are quite surprising considering the discussions and pictures that go on this forum.

Anybody interested can google Kipawa which will take them to this forum and surprise , surprise.
Paradise get spoiled even more.

For those interested, go to your instagram account and  search Kipawa.
Just a few innocent pictures .
I'm not saying to post every catch with your bragging right stringers loaded to the brim.
Just a few innocent pictures of you having fun.

Just my two cent about social media and this being part of it.

Mr. Rhybak...I'll make you a deal. I'll get an Instagram account, ask my kids to help me learn how to use it, and endeavor to post something each day I'm up there. A sort of 'as it's happening' chronicle, I guess. May not always be fish...may not always be appropriate in whole...but I'll try. There is plenty of access to info and promotion of Kipawa...and for some reason it's our medium-sized secret for now. Can't stop social media...way too powerful, but I'm not entirely sure even that can move the needle for "too much" attention on the lake. Wish I were there right now.

Now go re-fiddle your tackle...check your jib and cunningham or whatever boating terms are appropriate (I know nothing on that)...make sure your line is tight...tune-up those reels...you leave in only a couple days!!!!
Embrace every moment...you only get it once

Thank you for your kind words
three more sleeps and I'm off.
7 A.M. out of the driveway to beat the traffic.

I will be driving alone and expect to solve all the problems in the world before I arrive in Tamiscaming.( a grueling 4.5 hour drive)
Then it's just a matter of getting our room and relaxing with a few cold ones until Saturday morning.

Hi RHYBAK,

Comments not meant to be negative, everybody likes to share fish pictures. As a new forum member, I don't wish to ruffle any feathers. I just cringe when I see fishing locations posted on social media. I've seen it before, info posted on social media or public
forum and with in a few year or less, your lucky to get a spot to park at that ramp and pressure fishing pressure has risen considerably.

Hope you have a great trip!
