This is an old thread but worthy of reviving now that I have 5 trips under my belt and being 45 days away from trip number 6. T-bones schedule was a pretty darn good one and ours isn’t far off from that. I’ve made subtle adjustments that reflect our typical day. Can’t wait to put into action again!

Early-AM Fishing ie: plan “A”
5AM: Wake, coffee on the fly hit the lake by 5:30AM
10AM: Back at cabin, have late, relaxing  breakfast
Noon: Nap and or chill for an hour or two
1:30PM: Begin thinking about dinner, while beers on porch BS-ing and visiting Alawki friends.
3PM: Back at cabin, more beers and begin dinner preparation
4:30PM: Eat dinner
6PM: Evening walleye bite
9:30PM: Back at cabin, couple beers/bourbon on ice then nighty-night
5AM: Repeat

NO Early-AM Fishing ie: plan “B”
6-7AM: Wake, coffee on porch, more coffee, shuffle around and BS for a couple hours enjoying friends & Kipawa tranquility and realizing no work today!
9AM:Leisurely Breakfast
10AM:heading out for a Laker troll
2PM: Back to cabin, beers, more beers, more beers, relax visit others, beers & start buzz maintenance
5PM: Start thinking about dinner while maintaining cruising altitude
6PM: Eat dinner with beers, though not much dinner since full from many beers
7PM: pack cooler head to best place to possibly catch a walleye while having more beers
9:30PM: Back at cabin, beers, more beers/bourbon on ice, crack jokes, tell stories & talk sh_t
11PM: Pass out and snore terribly
2AM: wake with cotton mouth, buzzy headache and in terrible need to hit the head
7AM: Try to Repeat, but typically fail to repeat due to getting old, so let’s call it repeat light 2.0

Most of the week seems to lean towards plan B  with a mix of plan A. Did I mention....Can’t wait!

I know this is a year old, but I see someone brought it back to life.
For us a typical day is around 10-12 hours on the boat fishing.  Not all at once though.  We usually wake up around 7am and get the coffee going.  (Love percolator coffee).  Then we like to head out for Lake Trout.  We would wake up earlier to target Walleyes, but we are normally out fishing until
10-10:30pm, so that early wake up is too difficult for us.  Normally dont go to bed until around 1am.
After the morning laker run, we head in for brunch around 10:30-11:00am ish.  Eat a delicious breakfast/lunch and then go back out around 12-12:30 for Pike, Walleye and Bass.  Sometimes we stay close to camp and other days we take a long boat ride?  Depends on our mood?  Usually spend about 3-4 hours out and then head back in to get dinner going around 4-4:30.  We like to eat around 6-6:30 the latest, so we can get back out for the evening bite.  After cleaning up, we head out around 6:30-7:00 and do some more Laker fishing on the way to our Walleye spot for the night.  Like I said earlier, we are normally out until 10-10:30pm Walleye fishing.  The only thing we may do different throughout the week is, we will sometimes go play with the bass instead of Lakers?  Depends on our mood?  I know a lot of people love the bass fishing, but they are just a bye catch for us.  I dont think its as good as it was about 3-5 years ago either.  I remember catching fish just about every cast when we would target them.  Now it seems you have to work a lot harder for them compared to previous years.  I guess we were spoiled for a few years lol.  They are one heck of a fight and very fun to catch.  No denying that.
What an awesome place to spend a week of your life every year.  I love every second of our trip.  Even the 15 hour car ride to get there.  In a week from today we will have our sights set on Temiscaming.  Cant wait for dinner at Tem rose Eh!
Live to Hunt and Fish.. Work to pay for both..

Peterbfly, thats a hike. I have family not far from you coming this year. I’m pretty fortunate to only have a 8 hour drive to make it to complete solitude.
