Fishing near Kipawa

Has anyone had any experience fishing the southern to middle section of lake kipawa in late June? Ive heard that the walleye sometimes do not get there until a little later. Is there any truth to this?

  I have never had any problems catching walleye around Alwaki lodge that time of year. I think that is the area you are talking about.

Thank you for the input.  I think we are staying in a cabin around the sunnyside area and we aren't that familar with that part of the lake. If you have any tips on some fishing spots or anything i would really appreciate it. Thanks again!!
