Ice Fishing Question

So here is a question....If there is still ice on the lake on opening day can you fish pickerel?

The reason I ask is because there is no ice fishing allowed on Kip.

Thoughts?

Hi Crackers, Walleye season opens May 18th. There won't be any ice, so you don't have to worry about ice fishing.

Thanks Wayne but you missed the point of the question.

I have seen ice on more than a few occasions over the year on the walleye opener.

It was a question regarding regulations of ice fishing on kipawa.
